Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern is seeking a Senior Advisor, Planning and Performance in Manukau City, North Island. You will support the National Public Health Service through planning and performance coordination, development and continuous improvement of reporting.

You will lead executive reporting, analyse data for insights, and work with NPHS stakeholders to guide strategy and decision-making.

• Proven experience in planning, performance, reporting, or business improvement roles within a large and complex organisation.

About the Role

As a Senior Advisor, Planning and Performance, you will play a key role in supporting the National Public Health Service (NPHS) Planning and Performance team through the coordination, development, and continuous improvement of organisational planning and performance reporting. You will lead the delivery of high-quality executive reporting, analyse complex data to provide meaningful insights, and work closely with stakeholders across NPHS to support strategic planning, performance monitoring, and informed decision-making. This role is well suited to an experienced professional who can translate complex information into clear recommendations, build strong working relationships, and drive improvements in reporting processes and systems.
