Job summary

Maritime NZ is seeking a Senior Advisor in Regulatory Operations, Planning and Performance in Wellington to partner with the Reg Ops Leadership team and shape priorities. You will report on performance, drive continuous improvement, and support planning and reporting across the group.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights within a fast-paced regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with performance planning and reporting in a regulatory or operational context.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Proven track record of identifying improvements and driving change.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills adaptable to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Shape group priorities in Regulatory Operations Planning and Performance.
• Report on and improve performance across Reg Ops.
• Support planning, performance and reporting approaches and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide trusted advice and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
