Job summary

Findex seeks an experienced accounting professional in Dunedin to prepare financial statements and tax returns, while delivering business advisory support. You will engage in budgeting, forecasting and client reporting, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience within public practice.
• CA qualification is preferred.
• Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our team.
• Fantastic people skills and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for clients, using strong technical skills including tax, GST, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing business advice and/or producing complex special purpose reports and reconciliations.
• Experience with project-related financials, including budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, and tracking project costs.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
