Job summary

Findex New Zealand is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join our Hamilton team, delivering hands-on support to Partners and liaising with a diverse client base across the Waikato region.

In this role you will prepare financial statements, tax returns, management reports, and cash flow forecasts while building trusted relationships with clients and staff. A CA/CPA pathway is supported and ongoing training is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting experience within public practice.
• Experience with tax, accounting and business matters.
• Strong client-focused approach and ability to support Partners' client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Preparation of management reports.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts to help clients plan cash-based transactions.
• Deliver quality accountancy services with accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with leading accounting software systems to meet client needs.
• Build relationships with clients as a trusted contact for Partners.
