Inspired Education Group seeks a Secondary Design Technology Teacher for an ACG College in Auckland. The role covers Year 7–13, delivering Design Technology under Cambridge IGCSE/AS/A2 frameworks with hands-on workshop activities and project-based learning.

The position is full-time and permanent, commencing Term 1, 2027. Strong emphasis on safety, technology use, assessment, and pastoral care within a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification such as Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent.
• Candidate should hold New Zealand Teacher Registration.
• Police check and ongoing professional development are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design Technology teaching to Year 7–13 aligned with Cambridge/ICSE? curriculum, as applicable.
• Develop and assess learning programs, resources, and activities.
• Monitor student progress and maintain records with timely feedback.
• Integrate educational technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Communicate professionally with parents and attend events.
• Contribute to wider school life through pastoral care and school events.
