Job summary

Recreational Services in Otago seeks a Mower Operator to maintain parks and grounds, including mowing, weed eating, and basic equipment upkeep. A full NZ driver’s license (manual preferred) is required, with a positive, can-do attitude and commitment to health and safety.

You will join the Waitaki team on a full-time basis, enjoy outdoor work, and contribute to a well-presented community environment. Pre-employment drug testing applies as part of our policy.

Qualifications

• Full, current driver license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Willingness to work outdoors and complete tasks to a high standard.
• Basic computer skills will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Mow, weed eat and perform general parks and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with basic mechanical maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Ensure grounds are well presented and maintained to community standards.
