45 South Management Ltd in Cromwell, Central Otago, invites 150+ seasonal cherry pickers for the 2026/27 harvest, starting in late December 2026 and early January 2027.

You will hand-pick ripe cherries, fill buckets, and follow health and safety policies in outdoor summer work. Early mornings with accommodation options available, plus daily production bonuses and loyalty bonuses for staying the full season.

Formación

• NZ Work Visa required; sponsorship not available.
• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, and lift.
• Experience with ladders or fruit picking; cherry picking experience a plus.
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to completing the full harvest season.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Compliance with health, safety, and orchard policies.

Cherry Picker Responsibilities

• Hand-pick ripe cherries to meet strict quality standards
• Fill buckets efficiently and accurately
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
• Work diligently to meet daily targets while maintaining fruit quality

Requirements

• Valid NZ Work Visa (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
• Physically capable of climbing ladders, bending, and lifting
• Experience with ladders or fruit picking (cherry picking experience a plus)
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to completing the full harvest season
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Compliance with health, safety, and orchard policies

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in varying summer weather (we cannot pick during rain)
• Early morning shifts, leaving late afternoons free to enjoy Central Otago’s summer
• Closed-toe shoes and sun-protective clothing required
