Job summary

LIC is seeking Laboratory Technicians for a 6-month seasonal role from November to April. Based at our Riverlea Road site, these full-time positions (40 hours a week, Monday to Friday) report to the Animal Health Team Leader.

You'll prepare bovine and caprine samples for testing, report results, and help implement ISO 17025 quality standards. Prior lab experience is preferred, and PCR/ELISA knowledge would be highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial laboratory.
• Ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of bovine and caprine samples for testing in the Animal Health Laboratory.
• Reporting on test results.
