Job summary

Lowburn Cherry Orchard LP is seeking a practical, organised Seasonal Accommodation Facility Manager to oversee the on-site seasonal worker accommodation during the Central Otago cherry harvest.

The role involves hands-on site management, coordinating arrivals/departures, maintaining records, ensuring hygiene, and working with Orchard Management to keep operations smooth and safe for the workforce. Flexible start dates and site duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Practical and hands-on approach for managing a seasonal accommodation site.
• Strong organisational skills to run day-to-day operations and keep records.
• People-focused with ability to interact respectfully with a diverse workforce.
• Understanding of health & safety procedures and risk awareness.
• Able to coordinate arrivals/departures and manage maintenance needs.
• Good communication with Orchard Management and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and presentation of the accommodation facility and campsite.
• Coordinate occupant arrivals and departures.
• Maintain accurate accommodation and occupant records.
• Oversee cleaning standards and hygiene.
• Monitor shared facilities and arrange maintenance or repairs.
• Coordinate maintenance, tradespeople and contractors when required.
• Conduct site inductions and communicate rules and expectations.
• Support health and safety procedures and emergency requirements.
• Respond to occupant queries and day-to-day issues calmly and professionally.
• Keep Orchard Management updated on site operations and issues.
