Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Sealing Operator in New Zealand. This hands-on role involves operating plant and equipment on reseal and surfacing projects, supporting the crew to meet timelines, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

You will work with the crew to deliver quality work, stay focused under pressure, and contribute to community infrastructure on the West Coast. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in road construction, surfacing, sealing, or reseal work.
• Full Class 2 license with WTR endorsements; Class 4+ and Dangerous Goods Endorsement advantageous.
• Willingness to work away from home and on shift when required.
• Proactive safety mindset with strong communication and teamwork.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

Join Fulton Hogan as part of our Reseal Crew in Greymouth. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with the crew to deliver good work safely, on time, and to a high standard across reseal and surfacing projects on the West Coast.

You’ll be part of a team that backs each other, takes ownership, and knows when to switch on and get the job done. We take the work seriously, not ourselves, and you’ll have the chance to build your skills while making a real impact in the communities we work in.

• Operate plant, machinery, and equipment safely across reseal and surfacing works
• Support the crew to deliver work to programme while meeting quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

• Experience in road construction, surfacing, sealing, or reseal work.
• A Full Class 2 licence with WTR endorsements. Class 4 and above, plus Dangerous Goods Endorsement, are advantageous.

• A proactive approach to safety, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team.
• A positive, reliable attitude, sound problem-solving skills, and a good sense of humour.
