Foodstuffs NZ, operating New World Halswell, is seeking team members for the Seafood Department. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional shopping experience with a passion for customer service and seafood product presentation.

We provide full training and value a can-do attitude, reliability and eagerness to learn. Hours include Friday 4.00pm-8.00pm and Saturday 7.00am-1.00pm, with opportunities to grow within a large supermarket setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred, but not required as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Delivering outstanding customer service and building rapport with customers
• Maintaining a high standard of merchandising and product presentation
• Carry out daily packing and labeling of products
• Receive and display daily inwards supplies
• Assist with general product preparation and production
• Maintain a high standard of Food & Workplace Safety
