Job summary

Mt Roskill Grammar School in Auckland invites applications for a permanent, full-time Science teaching role, with the possibility of a management unit for Year 11 leadership. Starting Term 1 2027.

We seek a teacher with strong curriculum knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, a restorative approach to behaviour, and a reflective disposition to support learner achievement and wellbeing in a dynamic school community.

Qualifications

• Strong curriculum knowledge and understanding of science curricula.
• Ability to build effective, respectful relationships with students, staff and whānau.
• Restorative approaches to behaviour and classroom management.
• Reflective practitioner with a commitment to ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science to the senior school with energy and clarity.
