Science Teacher – Physics or Chemistry Specialist

Full-Time | Permanent Role | Start ASAP

Our client is a coeducational secondary school in Auckland seeking a NZ-registered Science Teacher with a specialty in Physics or Chemistry, for a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be employed under the terms of the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement.

Applicants must be New Zealand residents or have a strong likelihood of obtaining a work visa quickly. A Bachelor’s degree in Science, with a major in Physics or Chemistry, is essential.

The successful candidate will teach senior Physics or Chemistry (Years 11–13) and general Science at junior levels (Years 9–10). The school values collaborative, effective teachers who are committed to delivering high-quality science education and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Both experienced educators and provisionally certificated or recently graduated teachers are welcome to apply.
