Job summary

PERSOL, in partnership with Programmed Facility Management, is seeking a Grounds & Facilities Caretaker for Haeata Community Campus in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role focusing on grounds maintenance, including mowing, weed eating, weed spraying, and some minor handyman tasks within a busy school environment.

This temporary position offers a pathway to permanent for the right person. You will join an established caretaking team, work with staff and contractors, and help keep the campus

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or caretaking.
• Energetic, practical and reliable.
• Comfortable using grounds equipment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, weed eating and general grounds maintenance.
• Weed spraying and outdoor upkeep.
• Minor maintenance tasks and responding to requests.
• Regular site checks and updating tasks in systems.
