Job summary

PERSOL is recruiting for a Grounds & Facilities Caretaker at Haeata Community Campus in New Zealand. This hands-on role focuses on grounds maintenance, including mowing, weed control, and minor handyman tasks within a busy school environment.

You'll join an established caretaking team with hours 11:00am-7:00pm, Monday to Friday, and work alongside school staff and contractors to keep the campus safe and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, caretaking, landscaping, trades or similar environment.
• Able to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Reliable, practical, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, weed eating, and general grounds maintenance.
• Weed spraying and outdoor upkeep.
• Minor maintenance and handyman tasks.
• Responding to maintenance requests.
• Updating job records using basic computer systems.
