Due to the nature of the role, hours are flexible and will include some early mornings, evenings, weekends and term breaks to support trainings, tournaments, and game nights.

Key Responsibilities
- You will assist our school’s programmes, developing and managing a diverse range of opportunities for students from Years 7-13.
- You will coordinate competitions, training, logistics, communication and administration, working closely with our Director of Sport, coaches and external providers.
- Organise timetables, fixtures, transport, venues, equipment and coaching/volunteer support for school teams and sport events.
- Coordinate inter-school tournaments, in-school competitions and school sports events.
- Manage budgets, payments, equipment inventories, registration systems and communications (newsletters, website, social media) relevant to sports.
- Promote positive student behaviour, sportsmanship and school values within all sporting activities.
- Monitor student participation, progress and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with risk management, health & safety, and school policies in sport (including transportation, supervision, equipment, EOTC).
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, team lists, parent/coach communications, organizing travel, and overseeing results.
- Continually review and recommend improvements to the sports programme (e.g., new sports, pathways, community partnerships).

- Competency in using school management systems, spreadsheets, database/tools (e.g., team registration software, transport scheduling);
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and proactive initiative;
- Flexible and adaptive – evening/weekend events may be required;
- Understanding of health & safety, safeguarding in schools, and risk management in sports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in sports administration would be an advantage;
- Administration in a school
- Experience working with young people
- Driver’s licence and willingness to travel to/organise external events as required.
