Job summary

Rotokauri School, on the outskirts of Hamilton, is seeking a certificated teacher for the senior area (Year 6 & 7, negotiable). The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching across a broad NZ Curriculum, with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy and building positive relationships with students.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, reflective practitioner who collaborates well with staff to support diverse learners. A sense of humour would be advantageous.

Rotokauri School is a full primary on the outskirts of Hamilton. Due to promotion we have a vacancy in the senior area of our school (Year 6 & 7), but this is negotiable.

We require a positive, enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning for our tamariki.

The successful applicant will have sound curriculum knowledge and experience in using a wide range of strategies to support diverse learners. Strengths in literacy and numeracy are essential, as is being a reflective teacher who works collaboratively with others and has the ability to build strong relationships with students. A sense of humour would be highly advantageous. Unit allowances negotiable for leadership responsibilities.
