Rotorua Specialist School - Te Kura Pūkenga o Rotorua seeks a Certificated teacher to join our team for January 2027 start. The school provides specialist education for learners aged 5-21 with ORS High and Very High needs, prioritising wellbeing, mana and whanau aspirations.
Applicants should be NZ registered with current practising certificate and able to work in NZ. Experience in specialist education is welcomed though not essential; a passion for inclusive practice is key.

Our kura provides specialist education for students aged 5-21 with ORS High and Very High needs. We value inclusive, strengths-based practice and place the wellbeing, mana and aspirations of our ākonga and their whānau at the heart of everything we do.
Experience in specialist education is welcomed but is not essential. We warmly encourage applications from teachers currently working in mainstream settings who have a passion for special education.

Applicant must be a NZ registered teacher with a current practising certificate. They must also be legally entitled to work in NZ and hold a current and valid New Zealand work visa.
