Job summary

Pūtahi Belfast School on our Junior Campus invites an outstanding NZ registered teacher to join our team for 2027. This full-time permanent role covers Years 1–4 with focus on primary education and delivering engaging learning experiences.

We value tamariki, whānau partnerships, and a culture built on Vision and Values. Training in Structured Literacy and Numicon is supported, and experience with the Learn Create Share pedagogy would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• NZ registered teacher with a current practising certificate.
• Interest in teaching primary and intermediate (Years 1–8).
• Experience with Structured Literacy is desirable; training available.

Responsibilities

Pūtahi Belfast School is seeking an outstanding, motivated NZ registered teacher to join our fabulous team. This will be on our Junior Campus (Year 1-4) for 2027. We are a modern school with two campuses based 1km apart. Our strong Vision and Values are central to our school culture and is the foundation for growing and sustaining our unique school model.

You are the right person if you are someone who has a passion for tamariki, prides themself on building positive relationships with learners and their whānau, and prioritises engaging the learners in front of you. Experience in Structured Literacy and Numicon would also be an advantage, however training and support will be provided. We are part of the Manaiakalani Network so experience with the Learn, Create, Share pedagogy would be an advantage.
