Job summary

Nga Iwi School in Auckland is seeking amazing practitioners to teach in our primary/intermediate years 1–8, delivering English, Health, Mathematics, Science, Social sciences, Technology and te reo Māori. We value energetic, collaborative teachers who build warm relationships with students, families and staff. Overseas-based teachers need not apply.

You will contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment with a focus on differentiated instruction and strong whanau engagement.

Qualifications

• Hold a current teaching qualification and be registered.
• Experience teaching in primary to intermediate Years 1–8.
• Able to work with special needs students in a mainstream setting.
• Collaborative team player with families and whānau.
• Integrate te reo Māori into daily learning.
• Design engaging, differentiated programmes aligned to the new curriculum.
