Job summary

Ohaeawai School in Wellington is seeking a New Zealand registered teacher to join a dedicated, collaborative team for a role beginning at the start of the 2027 school year. The teacher will work across Years 1-8 in a future-focused environment and contribute to numeracy, literacy and te reo Māori initiatives.

Experience with iPads, Chromebooks and Google for Education is advantageous, and strength in Te Reo Māori would be an asset.

Primary and intermediate (Years 1-8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

Due to a resignation, we require an enthusiastic and motivated New Zealand registered teacher to be part of our dedicated, dynamic and collaborative team. Position to start at the beginning of the school year 2027.

We are looking for a teacher who has knowledge of the refreshed curriculum, strengths in numeracy, literacy and experience in a collaborative and future-focused learning environment. Experience using iPads, Chromebooks and the Google for Education platform as teaching and learning tools would be an advantage. Strengths in Te Reo Maori would be an asset.

For the right person, this position can be for either the senior or junior part of the school.
