Job summary

Greenmeadows School in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, seeks two certificated teachers for 2027. One position will focus on Year 1–2; another role is flexible across age levels within Years 1–8. We are looking for two stunning, vibrant, enthusiastic, committed and skilled teachers to join our team in 2027. There is flexibility as to which age levels within the school these positions will be appointed. The decision will be dependent upon the skills and capabilities of the applicants, but one will definitely be appointed to the Year 1 and 2 syndicate. Please note one position is permanent and the other is fixed term for the 2027 school year.

A strong ability to build positive and genuine relationships with students, whānau and colleagues is a must. We seek teachers who also know how to have fun and bring things they know will make learning come alive in their classroom. A variety of professional development opportunities are also available to support growth as a teacher and educator.

We have considerable extra-curricular activity as part of our school ethos, and look to staff to support this aspect of Greenmeadows School with their particular interests and passions.
