Job summary

Sourced IT Recruitment is seeking a SAP-focused Business Analyst to support asset data standards and GIS integration initiatives in Christchurch. You will work across business and technical teams to define data models and ensure data alignment between SAP and GIS systems.

You will engage with SAP PM/EAM, asset master data, data migration, and reporting to improve data quality and governance within a complex SAP environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Experience with asset master data, data mapping, data standards or data migration.
• SAP-GIS integration experience, ideally with ESRI.
• Knowledge of SAP BW, enterprise data warehouses or asset reporting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technical teams to understand current processes, gather requirements and define future-state data models.
• Review asset master data, data structures and mappings to support asset data standards.
• Define requirements for two-way integration between SAP and GIS systems, ensuring data remains aligned.
• Assess impact of data changes on reporting, asset registers and related systems.
• Support data migration, data quality improvements and delivery of practical solutions.
