Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Pacific Doors is seeking a Safety and Quality Lead to drive our Health, Safety and Quality strategy across three NZ sites. You will partner with site leaders to strengthen safety accountability, simplify systems, and oversee governance, audits and regulatory engagement.

You will lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and manage training, licences and competency programs to ensure workforce readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading safety transformation in manufacturing or multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing workers' compensation, training, licenses and competencies.
• Experience applying ISO9001 or similar quality management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health, Safety and Quality strategy and transformation across NZ sites.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety leadership and accountability.
• Oversee safety audits, governance, reporting and regulatory engagement.
• Investigate incidents and drive effective corrective actions.
• Coordinate training, licensing, certifications and compliance records.
• Develop tools and programmes to build safety and quality capability.
• Improve SOPs and work practices to ensure safe operations.
