Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Pacific Doors in Lower Hutt, NZ, seeks an experienced Safety & Quality Lead to drive health, safety and quality strategy across three sites. You will partner with site leaders to strengthen safety accountability, simplify systems, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions while managing compliance and reporting.

The role requires WHS expertise, transformational leadership, and a track record in quality programs (ISO9001 or similar) within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience leading health and safety and quality transformation in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing training, licences and competency programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Health, Safety and Quality strategy and transformation roadmap across the Door Group in New Zealand.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety leadership and accountability.
• Oversee safety audits, compliance frameworks and regulatory engagement.
• Coordinate training, licences and competency management.
• Prepare monthly safety and quality reports for senior leadership.
