Air New Zealand Limited in Christchurch is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Avionics team on a permanent, Monday–Friday day shift. You'll maintain, inspect and repair avionics systems to keep our fleet safe, reliable and ready to fly.

The role requires an avionics trade apprenticeship or Level 4 Certificate, hands-on fault diagnosis and repair experience in commercial aviation, and proven ability to use diagnostic tools and document work accurately.

Qualifikationen

• Completed Avionic aircraft engineering trade apprenticeship or Level 4 National Certificate.
• Experience in avionics maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair in commercial aviation.
• Confidence using diagnostic tools, technical documentation and troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe, compliant and efficient maintenance practices.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across a diverse team.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement and learning.

• Maintain, inspect and repair aircraft avionics systems to ensure safe, compliant and reliable operations.
• Use specialist diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and deliver effective solutions.
