Nukuhou North School in the Bay of Plenty region invites applications for a fixed-term, maternity-leave Classroom Kaiako in a Year 3–5 class. This full-time role starts January 2027 and runs to December 2027.

The successful applicant will join a small, supportive team and focus on delivering a broad curriculum including Te reo Māori, mathematics, science and the arts, with strong emphasis on relationships with students, whānau and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a certificated teacher in NZ.
• Strength in Structured Literacy & Maths.
• Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga.
• Interest in outdoor learning and sustainability.

Responsabilités

• Teach Year 3-5 class in a maternity fixed-term role.
• Collaborate with whānau and staff.
