Mangaweka School in a small rural New Zealand community is seeking a Years 5–8 kaiako for an awesome rural school (0.6FTTE). The role is full time and permanent, working with primary and intermediate learners across Years 1–8 in a close-knit kura.

You will teach literacy and numeracy, build engaging learning programmes, and collaborate with a supportive team to celebrate successes and connect with families and the wider community.

Competenze

• A registered (or provisionally registered) teacher.
• Experience in a mixed year level classroom is preferred.
• Ability to teach literacy and numeracy and pitch learning to diverse learners.
• Ability to create exciting, innovative and responsive learning programmes.
• Team player with strong partnerships with parents/whānau and community.
