St Joseph's School Fairlie in the Mackenzie country invites a passionate certificated teacher to join our rural team for Term 1 2027. The role is for a multi-year level class, with level to be negotiated, and offers small-class teaching in a wonderful community.

Applicants should have NZ Curriculum experience, be motivated, team-oriented and able to contribute with humour and strong relationships. There is flexibility for 0.8 or full-time, plus a Teacher Bonding Scheme offering up to $40,000

Qualifications

• NZ Curriculum knowledge and implementation experience.
• Ability to teach across primary/intermediate levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach a multi-year level class, level to be negotiated.
• Deliver NZ Curriculum with emphasis on English, maths, science, arts and te reo Māori.
• Be a team player with strong relationship building and sense of humour.
• Willingness to participate in religious instruction.
