Job summary

P&F Global, based in Auckland, seeks an Account Manager for our Wholesale Sales team to manage and grow rural merchant relationships across the North Island. This office-based, telephone-driven role centers on proactive calls, quotes follow-ups and delivering practical pipe and drainage solutions.

You will build trust with customers, identify new opportunities and work with colleagues to ensure exceptional service and results.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or account management experience.
• Comfort with outbound telephone sales.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Self-motivated with daily sales activity management.
• Willingness to learn products/markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with an established portfolio of Rural customers across the North Island.
• Proactively engage with customers through regular outbound sales calls to understand their needs, identify opportunities and grow sales.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, providing practical solutions and advice that add value.
• Take ownership of your sales performance, working towards agreed sales and activity targets.
• Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge, solve problems and deliver a great customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow through on enquiries, quotes and sales opportunities.
• While your initial focus will be on our Rural market, opportunities may arise to support other customer segments.
