Job summary

Nawton School is seeking a Practice Leader to join the RTLB Cluster 16 leadership team in the Waikato region. This permanent role focuses on professional leadership, supervision, and guidance for RTLB to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services for mokopuna aged 0–10, kaiako, and whānau.

You will work with other Practice Leaders, the Cluster Manager and Lead Principal to build team capability, support itinerant RTLB, and ensure consistent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and supervision experience.
• Ability to mentor and build team capability.
• Strong collaboration with school leaders and external agencies.
• Experience using data to inform decisions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Practice Leadership and Supervision for RTLB team; provide performance conversations and guidance.
• Mentor RTLB and coordinate targeted professional learning.
• Collaborate with school leaders, SENCOs/LSCs and Te Mahau specialist teams for equitable support.
• Apply adaptive systems leadership and analyze cluster data to drive outcomes.
