Job summary

Renwick School in Blenheim seeks a skilled Resource Teacher Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) to join Cluster 31. This full-time, permanent role supports inclusive education and removes barriers to learning for students across the region, working with kaiako, leaders, whānau, and professionals to strengthen practice.

You must be NZ registered with a current practising certificate and have recent NZ teaching experience; a Postgrad Diploma in Specialist Teaching is desirable or willingness to

Qualifications

• Be a NZ registered teacher with a current practising certificate and recent NZ teaching experience.
• Have proven experience supporting diverse learners.
• Show commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally affirming practice.
• Be reflective, highly organised, and have a professional work ethic.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build mana-enhancing relationships.
• Be willing to complete the Postgraduate Diploma of Specialist Teaching: Learning and Behaviour (Massey) if not already qualified.
• Hold a current full NZ driver's licence and have your own car.

Responsibilities

• Remove barriers to learning for students with diverse needs across primary and secondary settings.
• Collaborate with kaiako, school leaders, whānau, and other professionals to strengthen inclusive practice.
• Support equitable outcomes for children and young people in Marlborough and Kaikōura.
