Job summary

Sudima Kaikōura Hotel is seeking Room Attendants to join Hind Management's housekeeping team. You will clean, service and present guest rooms and public areas, while reporting safety or maintenance needs. The role is part-time (minimum 10 hours per week) based at Sudima Kaikōura, paying $24 per hour.

Applicants should have good communication, attention to detail and flexibility to work various shifts. Benefits include staff meals, recognition events and staff/family rates within the hotel

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure timely cleaning and presentation of rooms.

Your days will be active, but there is always time to offer a warm welcome to our guests, check in with your manager or teammates, or enjoy a shared moment with colleagues.

This is a part time role (minimum 10 hours per week) based at Sudima Kaikōura. We have permanent and fixed term roles available. This role pays $24 per hour.

• Work to the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene
• Ensure timely and effective cleaning, presentation and maintenance of rooms
• Servicing rooms as required ensuring productivity standards are met
• Ensuring that the hotels high standards are upheld

• Previous experience within a similar role desired but not essential!
• Great communication and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests make the most of their day
• Exceptional grooming and hygiene standards

• Valid Right to Work in NZ
