Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Sealing Roller Operator to join a road surfacing and sealing crew based in Hamilton. This hands-on civil role involves operating a PTR roller as part of a sealing crew, working alongside operators and ground staff.

You must hold a Full Class 2 NZ Driver Licence with a current WTR endorsement and have proven roller operating experience in civil/roading/sealing projects. The company offers a role in Hamilton with an experienced team and stability.

Qualifications

• Hold a Full Class 2 NZ Driver Licence.
• Have a current WTR endorsement.
• Previous roller operating experience.
• Experience in civil, roading, sealing or road surfacing.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Reliable, safety-focused and a team player.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Able to pass MOJ check.
• Right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Operate a PTR roller during road sealing operations.
• Compact road surfaces safely to a high standard.
• Follow vehicle movement plans and crew instructions.
• Complete basic equipment checks.
• Work safely around trucks and heavy machinery.
• Help the crew with hands-on tasks when required.
