Job summary

Regatta in Takapuna is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead Front of House with charisma and professionalism. You will drive service standards, mentor a busy team and ensure guests receive a consistently exceptional dining experience.

Ideally you will hold a Manager’s Certificate and have 3+ years in hospitality management, particularly in venues with a premium offering, and you will oversee bookings, CRM and staff development to support a thriving coastal venue.

Qualifications

• Strong mentorship and staff development skills.

Regatta is looking for our next superstar in the shape of a Restaurant Manager; a natural born leader who has a knack for mentorship and driving the people around you. You will ideally hold a current Manager’s Certificate and have 3+ years’ experience in a management position within the hospitality industry, particularly in a venue with a high-end offering. You will be responsible for leading Front of House operations, taking ownership of the bistro's service standards and ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience. You will train, coach and manage the wait staff team, creating a positive, high performing service culture while maintaining operational excellence. Alongside this, you will oversee customer relationship management, booking systems, team development and other key business functions that contribute to the success of the venue. You fit into the team like a glove and are a key leader of the team, knowing how to go above and beyond for our customers as well as our people.
