Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for BayCare Alliant Hospital. The role involves delivering respiratory care under physician orders, performing both noninvasive and invasive procedures, and participating as a key member of the care team on a 6:30AM–7:00PM shift with alternating weekends.

Requirements include an active RRT credential, CPR, and NBRC credentials; NRP within 6 months, ACLS/PALS preferred, plus a minimum of 6 months’ respiratory experience.

Qualifications

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) required.
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required.
• NRP (Neonatal) within 6 months.
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) or PALS (Pediatric) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with supervision as needed.
• Performs diagnostic testing and emergency/adult critical care as required.

The Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care
