RWR Construction is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our residential team in Northland. You’ll shape early pricing and drive commercial delivery on a range of home projects, working with estimators, project managers and leaders to ensure quality outcomes.

You’ll prepare estimates and detailed cost plans, oversee procurement and subcontractor engagement, issue purchase orders, administer contracts and manage variations and payment claims.

Qualifications

• Residential Quantity Surveying experience in New Zealand (group housing experience preferred).
• Strong estimating and post-contract QS capability.
• Excellent commercial judgement and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Prepare estimates and detailed cost plans.
• Procurement and subcontractor engagement.
• Produce purchase orders and manage budgets.
• Contract administration and project cost control.
• Manage variations and payment claims.
• Support Project Managers throughout construction.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to value engineering and commercial decision-making.
