Job summary

Harry Stamp Painting & Decorating in Tauranga is seeking a Painter, Brush Hand or Painting Labourer for ongoing residential work. Starting soon, casual hours, on-site painting across homes, with room to grow into interior, exterior and spray tasks as you gain experience.

If you’re practical, reliable and willing to roll up your sleeves, you’ll fit right in. Prior painting or building experience helps, but a good attitude and eagerness to learn are valued just as highly.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting or decorating is preferred.
• Good attitude and work ethic essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills on site.

Responsibilities

• Masking and protecting work areas
• Sanding, scraping and surface preparation
• Filling holes, cracks and imperfections
• Preparing walls, ceilings, trim, windows and exterior surfaces
• Moving equipment and materials
• Setting up and cleaning down work areas
• Inexperienced candidates may progress to interior/exterior painting tasks with guidance
