Job summary

Harry Stamp Painting & Decorating in Tauranga is seeking a Painter, Brush Hand or Painting Labourer for ongoing casual residential work. Starting Monday 7 September, pay is $25-$35 per hour depending on experience.

We welcome applicants with varying levels of painting experience who are practical, hardworking and reliable, and eager to learn the trade. This Tauranga-based business covers interior and exterior work, with a hands-on team focused on quality.

Qualifications

• Previous painting, decorating, spray painting, or related construction/trades experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Masking and protecting work areas
• Sanding, scraping and surface preparation
• Filling holes, cracks and imperfections
• Preparing walls, ceilings, trim, windows and exterior surfaces
• Moving equipment and materials
• Setting up and cleaning down work areas
• Involved in interior and exterior residential painting, brush and roller work, and spray painting
