Job summary

BJM Homes Limited is seeking two reliable Carpenters for our Auckland team. You will use blueprints and diagrams to shape forms, select materials, and build timber/concrete forms on site. You’ll measure precisely and assemble components, using chisels, saws, and drills to erect structures and finish details.

This role requires physical fitness and attention to detail. Ideal candidates have at least two years of relevant experience or NZQF Level 4 equivalent, and no criminal record.

Qualifications

• Eyes for detail and a hard-working attitude.
• Being physically fit.
• Must not have any criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Use building blueprints/diagrams to determine dimensions and design of forms.
• Select and work with materials like wood, plastic, fiberglass, concrete.
• Build timber and concrete forms and cut/assemble boards to size.
• Use chisels, planes, saws, and drills to erect structures and repair forms.
