Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Cybersecurity Analyst with Threat Intelligence to monitor threats, analyze data, and produce actionable intelligence for proactive defense. You will track alerts, identify trends, and develop timely reports for security teams, helping prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat intelligence or incident response
• Experience with SIEM tools and OSINT
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs for potential threats and anomalies.
• Analyze threat intelligence data from multiple sources to identify trends and risks.
• Develop and disseminate threat intelligence reports and briefings.
• Investigate security incidents and provide incident response support.
• Recommend and implement security controls and practices to mitigate threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing where applicable.
• Stay current with cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security solutions and remediation plans.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures.
• Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises.
