Placements24 is seeking a Senior Computational Biologist to join a remote-first research team tackling genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics to advance drug development and personalized medicine. You will analyze complex datasets and mentor colleagues across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, and proficiency with relevant bioinformatics libraries and tools.
• Extensive experience with high-throughput sequencing data analysis (e.g., RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, WGS).
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and database management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed, collaborative team.
