Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years in aviation safety investigation or related field.
• Proven expertise in investigation processes, methodologies, and reporting.
• Deep knowledge of aviation operations, aircraft systems, human factors, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; concise presentation of complex information.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and investigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct complex investigations following protocols.
• Collect, preserve, and analyze evidence (wreckage, FDR/CVR, witness statements).
• Interview witnesses and involved parties to gather information.
• Apply analytical methods to determine root causes.
• Prepare objective reports with findings and safety recommendations.
• Present findings to review boards and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with international investigation agencies as required.
• Contribute to improved investigation methodologies and safety standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation technology and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior investigators in techniques and best practices.
