Placements24 is seeking a highly diligent Remote Compliance and Standards Officer specializing in Sanitation. This fully remote role demands a deep understanding of sanitation regulations, QA, and best practices.

You will develop and implement compliance frameworks across the organization and conduct virtual audits to ensure sites meet industry standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Environmental Health or related field, at least 6 years in compliance or regulatory affairs, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Food Science, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in compliance, QA, or regulatory affairs focused on sanitation.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, local health codes.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Strong communication for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management software.
• Experience conducting remote audits desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments of sanitation practices at various company sites.
• Monitor compliance with national and international hygiene and safety standards.
• Interpret and apply complex regulatory guidelines to operational processes.
• Analyze compliance data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and audit findings for management.
• Develop and deliver training materials on sanitation standards and compliance for remote teams.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as needed.
• Stay current with changes in legislation and industry best practices related to sanitation.
• Promote a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
