Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an AI/ML Engineer in a fully remote role based in New Zealand. You will develop and deploy predictive machine learning models, work with large datasets, and collaborate with data scientists to translate data into actionable insights.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field, strong Python skills with scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, SQL, and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch. Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as AI/ML Engineer or Data Scientist focusing on predictive modeling.
• Strong Python programming with libraries: scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy predictive ML models for business insights.
• Process and analyze large datasets to identify trends and build models.
• Perform feature engineering to improve model performance.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical objectives.
• Monitor model performance and retrain as needed.
