Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will design challenging physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, and more, and develop clear, step-by-step solutions to serve as gold-standard references.

Additionally, you will evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and reasoning, collaborating with researchers to build benchmarks from undergraduate to Masters level physics, and provide targeted feedback to improve

Qualifications

• Masters in Physics or closely related field (pursuing or completed).
• Strong problem-solving across advanced physics domains.
• Clear, precise written communication of complex ideas.
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and asynchronously.
• No prior AI/ML experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging physics problems across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions as gold-standard references.
