Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Media Studies teacher to deliver engaging, live online lessons for Years 9-12 across NCEA and international curricula. This fully remote role supports a flexible, supportive learning community for students nationwide in Aotearoa.

You will design personalised learning experiences, maintain strong communication with students and families, and collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators to ensure curriculum goals are met through

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Teaching Registration and be actively registered.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCEA Levels 2-3.
• Strong communication and comfort with digital learning tools.
• Experience delivering live online classes and differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring live online Media Studies lessons
• Design personalised learning experiences
• Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment
• Collaborate with a high-calibre team of educators
• Support student progress through differentiated instruction
• Provide meaningful formative assessment, with quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment, aligned to curriculum goals
• Contribute positively to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team
• Develop genuine partnerships with, and report to parents and caregivers to support learning
