Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in logistics operations analysis or related data analysis.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), SQL, Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent communication and remote-work capabilities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized leader in supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly analytical and driven Remote Logistics Operations Analyst to join their expanding team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to the optimization of logistics networks and operational efficiency from anywhere. The analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. This role requires a strong quantitative skillset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations for enhancing transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to logistics operations, including transportation costs, delivery times, inventory levels, and warehouse performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in logistics data to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of transportation routes, carrier performance, and distribution networks.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to logistics management and other stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement recommended process changes and track their impact.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support business initiatives and problem-solving.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in logistics and data analytics.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analyses and reporting.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics operations through insightful data interpretation and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a logistics operations analysis or data analysis role.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of logistics principles, supply chain operations, and transportation modes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
