Qualifications

• Matriculation certificate or equivalent; further education or certification in insurance or administration is advantageous.
• Previous administrative or office support experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in processing new insurance applications and renewals.
• Manage and organize policy documentation and client records.
• Communicate with brokers and agents to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions.
• Prepare policy documents, endorsements, and other correspondence.
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments and gather relevant data for underwriters.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered into the underwriting system.
• Respond to general inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the underwriting team with various administrative tasks and projects.
