SourceIn is seeking a Mid-Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build, improve, and scale our platform. You’ll work across the full stack, delivering new features, integrations, and technical decisions with ownership from requirements to deployment.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, problem-solving, and high-quality code, with remote-first collaboration and NZ-based work options. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to ship practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer/Developer.
• Experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Backend experience with Node.js.
• Experience with Next.js or similar modern web framework.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Understanding of testing, version control, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across the platform.
• Work across frontend and backend technologies to add value.
• Develop responsive, accessible, high-performing web applications.
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and database-driven functionality.
• Work with payment systems and transactional workflows.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product and design to deliver practical solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from development to production.
